“Two friends where chatting, one said: We should repent of our sins, to be
In good standing with God! And the other replied: It is true! But…
It wouldn’t be better not to have anything to repent of?”
“THE RUBBISH BASKET”
It is very difficult to keep clean a rubbish basket!
If we don't clean it everyday, dirt sticks to it, making it harder to clean!
If we take a rubbish basket and we throw away all trash, we clean it,
and put flowers in it, we convert it into a fragrant flower stand!
But if we keep filling it up with trash, it always going to be just that:
A RUBBISH BASKET!
When we sin, we allow the filth of the world contaminate our bodies,
our minds, and our hearts, and a thick veil starts covering our eyes!
This veil, keeps getting thicker, until we cannot distinguish between
good and evil!
Sin is the “Fog” that clouds our sight! It is disobedience to God!
Well, you are probably are going to say: We all sin! True?
Yes! it is true! But.. ..
If sins were like holes on our path, when we see them, we avoid them,
And if we fall into them, we try to get out!
But if we have our eyes covered, we are not going to have any other
choice than to fall in them, and keep sinking in them without hope!
Plenty of this holes or ditches are in our path to Glory!
We have to walk with our eyes well open so we don’t fall in them!
If we do not try to avoid the “holes” we see, how easier we are going
to fall into the ones we cannot see?
We need a light on our path! “ A Light House!” To guide us like
it guides the ships in the coast so they don’t crash into the rocks.
This “Light House” is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!
He will gladly shine his Light on our path if we trust Him not to fall!
But if we already are inside the hole, so He can take us out of the sin hole in which we are trapped!
Thanks to God the Father for sending us his beloved Son, to illuminate us
through this world, and to prepare us for the one to come!
Blessed Be The Holy Spirit for keeping us in His Way!
Blessed Be our Lord!
Blessed Be our God!
Jesus said: I am the Light of the world: He that follow me, shall not walk
in darkness but shall have the Light of Life. John 8-12.
PRAISE THE LORD!
