"THE BIRTHDAY BOY"

Where is the birthday boy?
Oh, what a joy!
Today is his birthday!
And it is celebrated in the whole world!
But.. Who is he and where he is?
Let’s sing Him a happy Birthday!
Where did He go?
I looked for Him between all the presents gathered
under the tree, and, He was not there!
Oh, who cares?
What did you get for Christmas? That is important!
Do you believe in the Virgin Mary?
Who is she?
Do you believe that your sins will be forgiven
when you call her Son for his help?
Keep digging between the presents, you may find a
little naked baby next his beloved mother who with
a broken heart recognizes that he is going to die on
a cross to save you.
Do you believe in Jesus?
Yes, I do! But where is He?
He is in the heart of those who open it and receive
Him as their Lord and Savior!

"OUT OF BALANCE"

What happens when we carry a heavy weight on one arm
and nothing on the other?
Right! We begin walking toward the side with more weight,
we become imbalanced!
But we can regain our balance just by putting down the weight.
Easy right? No! It is not!
They are two very important things in the world for us:
The material, and the spiritual.
The material things are first of all, our lives, our families,
our job, our desire to succeed in life, to be rich, to become a
famous person, etc.
But when our heart stops beating, all those important things
we had, have no meaning anymore for us!
Now the scene changes, our body is death but our soul
continues living in a completely unbalanced life.
Lots of sin on our left but nothing spiritual on the right!
Why?, Because when we were alive, we gave too much
importance to the material things of the world, forgetting
everything about the spiritual issues of God!
I had the opportunity to talk to some people about God, but
when I was touching the most important part, a phone rings,
wait a second one said and answered it, then, when he
finished, he said: I’m sorry, what were you saying?
Oh, I was talking about the importance of the spiritual life
Look, I said, and the telephone rang again!
The man stood up and went outside.
But in the meantime he answers it, let me tell you this:
In ten, twenty or a hundred years from now, who is going
to care about the importance of this call?
However, in the spiritual realm, everything is eternal!
Everything is important!
Our Father which are in heaven… Remember this prayer?
Well, then, keep practicing it, imbed it in your brain!
In your heart, in your hole being, because one day for sure,
you are going to need it!
Don’t forget!
The most important things are not the material ones only,
but to have a perfect balance with the spiritual, better yet:
To have God as the center of your life!

"CARNAL OR SPIRITUAL"

I believe in Jesus but I do not feel inside of me, the desire to help
people like other Christians, what can I do to serve God better?
Wow! What a question my friend?
Look: By ourselves we cannot love people because our carnality
won’t let us do it!
Love is spiritual, therefore, we need God’s help!
We need to be born again!
Then, tell me please: How could I know if I am a born again?
Well, if you don’t know it, probably you aren’t but if you want
to become one, you could! Listen:
Do you feel the desire to talk to others about Christ’s Salvation?
Do you feel the desire to know more about your Creator?
Is heaven in your agenda?
Born again believers are God’s new creatures, made to love!
The past has already past, forgiven and forgotten when you
accept Christ as your Savior!
Then, and only then, begins a new life to love God and people.
To be born again is to abandon sin and begin serving God in
spirit and in truth!
It is like standing in front of two roads and decide once and
for all, to abandon our carnality and accept to follow Christ!
The world erects a huge wall between God and us thru religion,
But Jesus provides us a “ladder’ to escape toward God!
Jesus is that: “Ladder”! He is our help! Ask Him!
To be a born again believer is to feel inside of us the desire
to share God with everyone!
The next time you find yourself in front of the cross roads…
Simply, choose Jesus!

“God did not sent his Son to condemn the world
but to save it!” John 3-17.

To be a born again believer is to accept Jesus Christ
as your Lord and Savior!
Have you done it?

"WE ONLY LIVE TWICE"

Twice? Oh, I’ve got it!
After we die, we wake up in heaven, this is the second life right?
I’m sorry to disappoint you but that is not what the Bible teaches,
Jesus said in John 3-3.
Except a man be born again, can not enter the kingdom of God!
But, do we have to die first before we are born again?
Yes! But we don’t have to die physically, we need to die to sin
and begin living for righteousness, for God!
If you tried before and couldn’t do it, you know for sure,
how impossible it is to do it alone!
We need help, God’s help to succeed!
Christ receives us as we are with sin and all, but He takes that
heart of us full of sin, and cleanse it inside out!
At that point, we can decide to continue living in sin, or begin
helping people, but if we choose to continue sinning…
What do we need Christ for?
Think about it!
Why do you want to be born again if you are willing to do the
same things as before?
We need to change!
We have to have the desire in our heart to be a new person!
“I am the Way the Truth and the Life” said Jesus,
He is our new life!
Somebody said:
“Live once, die twice, live twice and die only once”
What does this mean?
By accepting Christ in our lives, we obtain an opportunity for
a second life serving God!
Without Him, we will be facing God for a judgment which ends
in the destruction of our souls in the lake of fire.
But because He died for us to pay for our sins, we don’t have
to be condemn for something we were already forgiven!
Simple! Keep living your carnal life and die twice, or take
The spiritual life Christ is offering you, and wake up in heaven
for a never ending life! Incredible?
Yes! That’s our God!
He gave his life to save yours, because….
He loves you!

"THE WIDE GATE"

Squeezing people in an elevator that was already full,
a person giving an excuse to push a little more, said:
Oh well, we all are going to fit in heaven!
O, yea? Somebody else answered, are you sure you
are going to go there?
No, I am not sure he responded!
There is room enough for all, no question about it, but,
what worries me is that people seem more interested
in the things that the world offers than in heaven!
So many people walking on the wide road that it may
not be enough room in hell!
What do you mean?
Listen, Jesus said:
“Wide is the gate and broad is the way that leadeth to
destruction, and many there be which go in thereat,
because strait is the gate and narrow is the way which
leadeth unto life and few there be that find it.”
Mathew 7-13
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”
“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil”
Proverbs 1-7 and 8-13.
When we walk away from sin, we give our faces to God!
We all know in which road we are walking!
Is it wide, or narrow!
Christ is knocking at the doors of your heart, if you can’t
see Him, is because you are walking away from Him!
Repentance makes us to turn toward God!
When you see Him…. Hesitate not!
Open up your heart!
You are on your way to heaven!

“Jesus did not come for the ones who think they are good
said the Bible, but to give an opportunity to all sinners to
turn to God and be saved!”

"HAPPINESS"

Happiness, what is it?
Is the vehicle that transports us to “heaven” and from there,
we could see all sadness that overflows the world who trying
to find it the fastest and easiest way, fell into the most common
vices putting their souls at the risk of being lost!
The “Deceiver” Offers us an incredible trip to the heights into
a fragile bubble which he makes explode when we are at the
highest point making us to fall without stops at a great speed
to the lowest point in earth: Hell!
In contrast to this, God offers us an incredible trip to heaven
when with faith we read his amazing book called The Bible.
Tremendous, isn’t it?
Why?
Because this is real!
God puts it in our hand to power our faith, love and confi-
dence when we learn to know Him better.
We need to know that heaven is not a fake but a real place!
And it is whiting our reach when we follow Christ the “Way”
who will lead us to an everlasting life.
Jesus is the Son of God, whom He sent to rescue us from the
eternal condemnation to happiness in paradise with Him!
Wonderful!
We only have two options:
To continue living in a false “heaven” full of problems, or
in the real one made by Love, Truth and Life. Not like the
unreal one we made by denying God’s existence, hating
and hurting people.
Why do people continue doing it?
Because we have never learned to fall on our knees to praise
the Unique Being that can save us!
God?
Yes! God through his only Son Jesus, when we open our arms
and place our hearts at his feet!

"DECIDE"

All our lives, we have walked in sin ways!
One day, we understand it, and seat down to think!
What am I doing? My soul is in danger of getting lost!
We claim to God and He gives an answer:
Repentance! Repentance? What is Repentance?
Repentance is the desire to stop sinning! But, if we
do not ask God to help us change, we go back to sin!
God is on one side, sin is on the opposite!
He must be tired of just watching our backs!
He wants to see our faces!
Many people tired of sinning, wishing for forgiveness,
go to the Almighty! God, puts in front of us, two roads
where we have to put our faith into a test:
We have to choose the one we thing is better for us,
the wide one, the one we have always walked on, or,
the narrow one full of rock and thistles, but that surely
will guide us to heaven.
If we already repented of our sins, and have the conviction
of believing in Christ, it is not enough to think that because
we have faith, we already have our ticket to heaven!
Faith needs our ACTION, and this is the decision to begin
walking on the only Way to heaven: Jesus, the Christ!
If you have not decided yet to accept the One who gave
His life to save yours, think again!
But don’t keep yourself standing right in front of the two
roads all your life without reaching your decision!
By faith we know that if we turn the switch on the wall,
the house will be illuminated, but it won’t happen until
you decide to stand up and do it! On the same token…
It is not until we decide to open our hearts to Jesus, that
his Holy Spirit begins to shine in our whole being!

Jesus is within your reach!
Faith is ACTION!
DECIDE…NOW!

"THE RUDDER"

I’m tired of my life!
I think I’m going in circles, in the middle of nowhere,
Every day is the same thing, the day begins with over-
whelming problems, leaving me with anxieties that
squeezes my heart to a point that nothing cares for me!
That is why I don’t like my life, I cannot deal with it!
And I think my boat is sinking!
Hold it! Hold it! Hold it!
Remove all those bad thoughts from your mind,
because there is nothing really wrong with you!
You are perfectly sound and normal!
Your boat is floating, and you have to keep it afloat!
What happens is that your rudder got stuck, because
it sunk in the mud of sin, and you cannot control it!
That is why you are going in circles! For that reason,
you cannot go in a straight line as you should!
Christ is the only One that can remove all “mud”
from your rudder and put your boat under control!
He will give you a new direction to follow!
The more you suffer, the greater the Joy will be
when you discover your new life serving God!
Christ will give you a new meaning in your life!
Stop going in circles!
Accept Christ as the Capitan of your boat!
A new life will begin under a new Director: God!
After Christ removed all mud from your rudder
and you gain control of your boat…
Are you going to take it back to the low areas?
Aim your boat toward heaven!
You won’t regret you did!
Remember:
We all suffer! And…
The bigger your sufferings are, the happier you
will be, when you accept Jesus Christ…
As your Lord and Savior!

"MY GOD IS WATER"

I visited a friend, with whom I always talk about God,
we shook hands, and shaking in his hands a bottle of
water he said: That is why I say I don’t believe in God,
because this is my god.
Are you serious I said!
Yes, he replied, without water, we will be dead!
You know what, I said, without the sun, it wouldn’t
be life either, without air, we couldn’t live, but all these
becomes meaningless if we could not breathe.
You could be submerged in water, I continued saying,
but if you do not breathe for more than thirty seconds,
you will die, even if you were in a big lake, in the
bottom of a the ocean, or surfing on the sun.
God has our breath in his hands, and can terminate
with our lives any time He pleases!
No my friend, water is not God!
Air, sun, water, the atmosphere, our body, our lungs,
they are just instruments we have to work along with.
God is the Director, the Master musician that synchro-
nizes them all, to produce that sweet music we call life!
We are just musicians God made to play for Him!
But if we do not want to make “music” for God,
He will fire us from his orchestra and send us to
play for the devil at the opposite side of heaven.
Your god is water! Ha!
If you continue thinking like that, one day you could
find yourself somewhere else than heaven, sweating
like a pig, thirsty as a camel, unable to find your god!
God is alive!
Seating on his throne in heaven, giving orders to the
sun, the moon, the sea, the rain etc. to do their thing,
to maintain us alive!
God is ALL! Not just water!
And we can be part of that All, when we believe
in his Might!
Praise Him with all your heart!
He loves you!

WHY DO YOU WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN?

Nobody wants to go to hell that is for sure, but, is it just
because we are afraid of it’s flames?
Or there is something else?
Why do you want to go to heaven?
The Bible says that day and night without ceasing,
everybody in heaven is worshipping the Lord!
Are you preparing for heaven? Listen:
Suppose you win a contest in which the main prize is
a vacation totally paid to Hawaii, how exciting!
Your heart begins pumping fast, oh wow, what would
I need? Shorts, sandals, flower shirts, a photographic
camera with lots of film to take pictures of all those
beautiful places they are, volcanoes, the islands, the
blue sea, etc. but wake up! You did not win!
The trip is to heaven! Are you excited?
Are you preparing to go there?
Heaven or hell begins on earth! Heaven needs to be chosen!
We need to voluntary depose “all our weapons” with which
we sin, begin a relationship with Christ, accept Him as our
Lord and Savior! And begin serving God! Easy! Isn’t?
We cannot be serving the devil and expect to go to heaven!
We will be deceiving ourselves if we think this way!
We are the sons of whom we serve!
We cannot be following the devil and think we are going
to wake up in heaven!
We will be in heaven if we follow and obey God!
To fall in a hole is easy! But to go up to heaven it is not!
That is why Jesus Christ came to this world, to help us out!
We cannot go up by ourselves alone! We need Him!
Hell is closer than we think!
In the hands of Jesus we will be safe!
We are truly in good hands!
In God’s hands.

"DAD, WILL YOU FORGIVE ME?"

In the majority of religions, when we are tired of sinning, we repent,
of our sins, and right after, return to continue living submerged in sin.
Then, why did we repent if we are going to continue sinning?
That is true!
Of course it is! Listen:
A boy went to his dad who was reading the news paper and said:
Dad, will you forgive me?
Yes my son, I’ll forgive you, but tell me, what did you do?
Oh, said the boy, I kicked the dog!
All right son, I forgive you, go to play!
After a while the kid came back and said: Dad, will you forgive me?
I kicked the dog again!
O. K. I forgive you! Go to play!
For the third time, the kid returns saying: Dad, will you forgive me?
The father stands up, laid the news paper on the table and said:
Look son, you know very well that I forgive you, and raising his
voice kept saying: But if you continue kicking the dog…
I am going to spank you so you could learn to behave!
Do you understand?
The kid bowed down his head, said, yes dad, and went to play!
When we are truly tired of sinning, we don’t look for forgiveness
alone, but for a complete change of our lives!
A new life! And we could achieve it opening our heart to Jesus,
so He could live in us and re direct our lives toward Him!
God really loves us and wants us to behave!
Do you really want to change?
Jesus can help you!
But if you want to continue “Kicking the dog” ….
He could punish you!
Be careful!

"NEW DAY"

It is dawning, the sun is rising, we have the opportunity
to see the beginning of a new day!
What for?
To continue hurting people?
To continue living a life completely away from God?
Tell me! Seriously:
What are you going to do with this new day?
Are you going to use it to continue disobeying Him?
To continue doing your will and not His?
In order to be happy, we have to make others happy!
But if we continue making sad all who surround us,
we have something bad that does not let us to do good!
If the majority of people are bad, we don’t have to join
them, on the contrary, we have to separate ourselves,
getting closer to God.
To love God is to love people!
If at night when we go to bed, we remember we have
done some good, we will have in our minds the desire
to wait with rejoice the pleasure to live one more day!
A new day! A new day to thank the One that without
reproaches gives us everything!
If today you feel bad for something you did yesterday…
Ask God to help you to change, so, today you could do
some good, and tomorrow you will feel better!
Today is the day we have been expecting desperately
to show God how much we love Him, helping people!
Go ahead!

"BOW DOWN YOUR HEAD"

Pride makes us to walk with a stiffed neck, an arrogant look
and a heart overflowing with sin, and is not until repentance
makes us to fall on our knees before God, that we pray.
Then, lowering our head to the floor, like a glass container,
we begin pouring our sins before God.
And when we are standing up, slowly Christ fills it up
with his Love.

Our stronghold is in the rejoice in the Lord!
In prayer is the power that makes us to reach our good
purposes in life.
Prayer brings to us, God’s peace and we find quietness
and rest by means of our faith in Jesus.

However, there is no place for hate!
Hate is like the lid of our glass!
When this glass of ours is filled with hate, it does not
matter how low we put our heads, sin cannot come out!

Love removes the “lid” of the glass, repentance makes us
to fall on our knees, confession empties it and Christ fills
it up with his Love to give to God and people when we
receive Him in our hearts!

With our heart full of Love, it won’t be room for hate!
Isn’t it wonderful?

God loves us and wants us to be full of his Love!

Christ is Love!
The forgiven Love!

"DO NOT READ THIS"

Don’t read it!
Why?
Because this could be the end of your sorrows, the end your
troubles, the end of your frustrations, the end of your hate!
We have been doing this for so many years, that seems
impossible for us, to have an opportunity to change!
Are you serious?
Yes! Very serious!
We don’t need any stimulants to make us feel “great”
on the contrary, our greatness diminishes with them, and
we become slaves living a false life away from the truth.
What is truth?
“I am the Way, the Truth and the Life said Jesus”
He is our Liberty!
Life ends for us when we stop breathing, and Mother Earth,
opens its mouth to receive us six feel below its surface,
and without Jesus, we will remain there forever. But…With
HIS RESURECTION proved, He will be able to rescue us
from there, giving us life forever, when we believe in Him.
Oh, baloney!
See?, That is why I told you not to read it!
Because now that you know it, if you reject Him, you will
be wasting your opportunity to live forever!
Jesus will save us from the pursuing of an empty life that
will last maybe no more than one hundred years, but we
could trade it for an eternal one when we say yes to Him!
Remember: Charity is to give, and Faith is to receive!

“Ask and you shall receive” said Jesus, but how are we
going to receive something we do not want to ask for?
Jesus: Please! Come into my heart!
Give me your salvation!
If you believe, you will receive!
That is our faith!

“ON A CROSS”

With his arms wide open, hanging on a cross,
With his hands and feet pierced with nails,
And a crown of thorns on his bleeding head,
Jesus Christ died to conquer for us, Salvation!

Tears of blood were rolling on his cheeks,
His eyes developed anguish and despair,
His countenance revealed the agony of his soul,
And from his throat came out a desperate shout:

Father forgive them,
Because they don’t know what they’re doing,
Into your hands I commend my Spirit He said,
In his last breath and prayer!

Later, He came back to life,
He woke up into his resurrection,
At the right hand of God now He seats,
And from there we receive his protection!

Believe! Believe in Him!
In his life in his death, and in his resurrection!

Guide my steps Lord, to follow you!
Give me the strength I need to obey your call,
Shine on my path, so I would not be in darkness,
And into bad ways I could fall!

The world my Lord goes so fast,
That in its travel wants to run me over
But with you near me I fear no evil,
And very happy I know I’m safe!

Give us Lord your Holy Spirit to teach us,
and from Him His holy gifts receive,
And when everything in this life comes to an end,
In your home in heaven, with magnificent view,

Thanks to your Love and Grace.. .. ..
We will live with You!

"ROSES AND THORNS"

In the time of the crucifixion of Christ,
some roman soldiers found a thorn bush,
full of flowers and thistles.

The soldiers threw the flowers away, and
with the thistles, they weave a crown of thorns
to put on the head of the man that suffering,
was carrying on his shoulders a heavy cross.

Pushing hard the crown on his head, they
make his blood run all over his forehead.
and with a malicious smile and great sarcasm,
they called Him: The King of the Jews.

Then, next to a couple of thieves,
they hanged Him on the cross,
and with nails piercing his hands and feet,
they fixed Him on the wood.

How sad!
But how joy full at the same time,
when at the third day, He rose from the dead,
to live eternally!

The wide road to hell, is full of roses,
to deceive the “good” that without realizing it,
is yielding to the enticements of sin, and,
they are lead like an ox to the butcher’s shop.

Contrary to that, the narrow road full of thorns,
serves to acknowledge little by little our sins,
and, when we finally reach Jesus, we see that
to forgive our sins, with open arms…
He is waiting for us!

And we realized without thinking…
That thanks to Him…
We will be in heaven!

"DO YOU LOVE GOD?"

Of course I do!
Then, tell me: what do you do to please Him?
I don’t know! Nothing I guess, why?
Because if we love somebody, we have to do something
to show how great is that love we say we feel!
It is not just to say: I love you, and that’s it! Listen:
Why is it so hard for us to fall on our knees to thank God
for all the nice things He gives us everyday?
We go to church just as we would be making Him a favor?
He does not need anything from us, we are the ones who need
from Him everything!
We suffer so much the adversities of this world every single
day of our lives: Insults, gossips, bad faces, and more,
but let me tell you something: if at the end of the day we would
pray and ask Him for his help, we would receive more blessings!
Just thinking we are self sufficient won’t solve anything!
Besides, He is always ready to help us! Why don’t you try?
He remembers us when we remember Him!
Jesus said: Who obeys me is because he loves me!
Then, love is obedience to God!
He asks us to love his Son, and Jesus his Son to love people!
Although, loving people is not that easy, we have to have the
Spirit of God inside of us to be able to do it, and Christ will
put Him inside of us when we accept Him as our Lord!
To love people is to share God’s love with them!
To love people is to forgive them, is to help them to reach
God’s promises to take us to heaven to enjoy life eternal!
To love God is to love people!

DO YOU LOVE GOD?

"ANGELS"

I was talking with a friend of about angels, yes I said angels
exist, God appointed one for every person in the world to take
care of us, to advise us in times of trouble, to alert us when
an accident is about to happen so we could try to avoid it!
How do you know that angels exist?
Well, the Bible talks about them!
We may not see them but they are real, very real I said!
If that is the case, I need six of them to take care of me he said.
No you don’t I replied, one will be enough, if you listen!
Why will you need one thousand angels at your side if you don’t
listen to any one of them? Besides, the devil is a copy cater as you
may know and he also appointed one or more of his bad angels to
make us trip and get hurt!
Our good angel loves to hear us praying and praising God, while
the other enjoys listen to us cursing, and damning people, he
loves to see us fighting, stealing, killing and all the other bad
things God hates.
Life in this world is dangerous and we are like kids seating on a
Swing hung over a swamp infested with crocodiles jumping trying
to get us, and the angel alert us, but if we are too busy and not listen,
we could get bit on our rear end for not paying attention around us!
Are you listening?
We have to listen our good angel if we want to be on the safe side.
Watch out! The waters are moving! I can hear a noise!
The crocodiles are coming they are getting close!
Get off your swing, move to safer grounds!
Get away from evil, get closer to God!
These angels are outside but we could have the Spirit of God
inside of us accepting his Son Jesus as our Lord and Savior!
He will direct us, bless us and protect us from bad spirits!
The only thing we have to say is: Thank you Jesus!
You are the Boss! My Boss!
Thank you for dying for me on the cross!
