Can I ask you a question?
What is it?
I heard that people were saying that Jesus was one hundred percent man
and one hundred percent God Is this possible?
How a person could be two hundred percent?
That is not an easy question! But I will try to answer it with your help!
All right! Go ahead!
God in heaven is one hundred percent God correct?
Yes! Then what?
He saw the suffering of his people here on earth, and wanted to help them
paying the penalty of sin which is death! And, to be able to do that:
He had to offer Himself in sacrifice dying for us to be the “payment” for
our sins! Becoming the Lamb of sacrifice for the sins of mankind.
But there is a “Problem”: God cannot die! So in order to make it happen,
GOD HAD TO BE BORN AS A HUMAN, AND BECOME A MAN!
One hundred percent man to feel on his own flesh all the sufferings a man,
a human person like us is exposed to!So the Holy Spirit through a miracle,
made the virgin Mary to conceive God’s Son and his name was Emmanuel,
which means: GOD WITH US!
O.K., So far so good! But.. .. ..
Was baby Jesus God or just a human being?
Wow! You got me there! Let’s see:
Christ is the Word of God and the Bible says that the Word became
Flesh! Christ was engendered in the virgin Mary to become God’s Son!
So, baby Jesus has to be God! God in the flesh!
Should we worship baby Jesus?
I knew you were going to ask me that question! Listen to me: Although
baby Jesus was Christ and Christ deserves worshiping, I think that it would be better to worship Him in the present tense, not in the past when He was a child or when He was crucified, or when He resurrected, but right now He is celebrating in heaven, his victory over death and the conquest of Life Eternal for all the people that believe in Him! Let me finish! Jesus has in Him the essence of God which is Love an ingredient missing in the human body, stolen by the devil in paradise because of sin!
Just look around:
We do not love people! And you know why! However, Christ gives us
back that missing ingredient just by asking, when we believe in Him!
Love is Charity! Love is the desire to help, Charity is the fulfillment!
Christ, voluntarily left his Glory and Might in heaven so Jesus Christ
although He was God, He was one hundred percent human! Like us!
You mean, God without powers? Are you trying to belittle Him?
Not at all! On the contrary, His sacrifice has more significance, more value otherwise Jesus having powers, would not be able to feel in his flesh
all the punishments and sufferings of the cross! Can you see that?
Yes! I can see it, but.. ..
How then He performed all his miracles without his powers?
Very good!
He grew up as a regular kid, and He received his “Gifts” from above,
In the same way we, his believers, receive ours! Obeying God!
Christ had to be baptized by John the Baptist, and when this happen said the Bible: The heaven’s opened up and God said: This is my Beloved Son in
whom I am pleased! Obey Him! Mathew 3-17.
And they saw the Spirit of God in the form of a dove coming down to Jesus.
A perfect Trinity! God the Father God the Son, and God the Spirit.
Jesus received in him, the Spirit of God in the same way any believer in
Christ will receive Him! When we surrender to Christ, God baptize us
with his Holy Spirit from whom we receive his “Gifts”.
These “Gifts” are: the Gifts of Prophesy, to speak in tongues, the Gift
of Love which is also Charity, the Gift of healing the Gift of Teaching etc.
And these Gifts are given by the Holy Spirit according to His will,
However Jesus, because of Love and obedience to his Father,
He received without limits, the Spirit of God said the Bible.
God returns to us the love we give Him multiplied many times!
Right after He received his “Gifts” The Holy Spirit took Jesus to the
wilderness to be tempted by the devil, and Jesus had victory over him!
And then, He started to preach, to cure people, to perform miracles etc.
I don’t understand! Is He God or not?
Yes! He is! Let me explain you something:
As God He is the richest person of the Universe! Correct?
But voluntarily, He chose to be the poorest man in the world!
Do you understand?
Yes! I’ve got it!
He chose to be poor, He chose to be a human being to fulfill the prophecies! Correct?
Yes! Correct! Now you can understand that by being obedient to his Father
He received his “Gifts” from the Holy Ghost and when we obey God we can
also receive these “Gifts” to help people.
In order for the apostles to believe, He showed them He was God when:
He transfigured himself in front of them, says the Bible:
“His face shone like the sun and his clothing became as white as the light.” Mathew 17-2
Oh my God!
You could say that again!
I guess we have to read the Bible more often if we want to really know Him!
Right! And we have to share it with people, so they know and love God!
Yes! The more you know about God, the more you are going to love Him,
and to love people!
READ THE BIBLE!

"HE IS RISEN"
Where is the son of Joseph and Mary?
Where is the one that thought was a king?
The one you call a Savior?
Where is that poor carpenter?
The one believed he was God’s Son?
Where is the one you called Teacher!
Where is he, whose name is Jesus?
For believing he was a “god” was crucified and killed!
Now he lay inside of a guarded tomb!
Sealed from outside with a huge stone!
Early Sunday was a terrible earth quake,
an angel came down from heaven
removed the heavy stone, and he sat on!
When the two Mary arrived to the tomb
They found it empty, and the angel asked them:
What are you looking for?
We are looking for Jesus! The one that was crucified!
Don’t be frighten He is not there the angel replied!
HE IS RISEN! Mathew 28-1
The Apostles and Jesus friends very happy said:
Our Teacher had Victory over death!
With his death and Resurrection obtained for the ones
who believe in Him, life eternal and salvation!
Stop worrying anymore!
Forget your sins and sin no more!
With Him we are forgiven!
Smile! Thank Him for all He has done for you!
Open your ears! For God sake listen:
He is not death! He is alive!
HE IS RISEN!
“I am the Resurrection and the Life said Jesus! Anyone that believes
in me even though he dies, will live again!” John 11 - 25.

"ON A CROSS"
With his arms wide open, hanging on a cross,
with his hands and feet pierced with nails,
and a crown of thorns on his head,
Jesus Christ died to conquer for us Salvation!
Tears of blood were rolling on his cheeks,
His eyes developed anguish and despair,
his countenance revealed the agony of his soul,
and from his throat a desperate shout:
Father forgive them!
Because they don’t know what they’re doing!
Forgive them Father because they don’t know who I am!
Into your hands I commend my spirit He said,
In his last breath and in a pray!
Later, He came back to life,
He woke up into his resurrection,
at the right hand of God now He seats,
and from there we receive his protection,
Believe! Believe in Him! Follow up his direction!
Believe in his life, believe in his death,
Believe in his resurrection!
Guide us Lord, guide our steps to follow you!
Give us the strength to obey your call,
Shine on our path, so we will not be in darkness,
and into bad ways we could fall!
The world my Lord goes so fast,
that in its travel wants to run over us,
but with you near, we fear no evil,
And very happy we know we are safe!
Please send us your Holy Spirit,
So He could teach us and His holy Gifts we could receive,
and when everything in this life comes to an end,
Thanks to your Mercy and Grace, in your holy place.. .. ..
We will live with you!
Thank You Jesus!
